For the first time, the Forum has a theme. It is The Power of
Corporate Culture. The reason for this theme is that many are of the
opinion that health oriented corporate culture and executive commitment
are among the most important EHM issues. We are pleased to
introduce this theme because the Forum has become a gathering place for
EHM national experts and thought leaders,
some of whom have programs with the most highly developed levels of
corporate culture. These individuals will lead discussions on corporate

understood. Accomplishing this goal is not

small, mid-size, and large company that have the most successful

The 2009 HERO Forum was a major success. When asked, “Overall, how would
you rate the Forum?” 63% said excellent, 32% said good, and 5% said
average or poor. When asked, “To what extent did the Forum meet your
expectations and/or needs?” 40% said is surpassed expectations and
needs, 50% said it meet expectations and needs, and 10% said that
expectations and needs were probably not met or not met at all.
